Duffields continue to invest for the future in their haulage fleet
Some competitors are not replacing their 18 tonne rigid delivery vehicles, preferring to go to all articulated 27 tonne trucks.
We run artics but realize that a large number of our customers ,especially family run dairy farms, cannot accommodate such large vehicles due to access and location problems.
We value these customers, and so we have just taken delivery of new rigid truck with a TRI-DEM AXLE.
This is a 8 wheel truck ,but the rear axle can be lifted. This greatly improves the turning circle of the vehicle enabling far easier access to customers farms.
It represents an investment of over £100,000, but will ensure efficient deliveries to customers for many years to come
