Duffields were very pleased to support Open Farm Sunday this Year

Participating farms across the country open up their farms to the general public, for a day,to learn more about how their food is produced.

This year Duffields attended the event at  Lewis Partners of Shotford Harleston Norfolk

This is a dairy and arable farm located in the beautiful Waveney Valley on the Norfolk Suffolk boarder.

Over 4000 members of the public attended

We displayed a range of animal feeds and the raw materials that go into feeds used on farms .It was also an opportunity to explain to the public the processes and  extensive quality control procedures involved in producing top quality safe animal feeds for use on UK farms

Duffield South West Mill Expansion May 29, 2019

Increased demand at our  Yeovil feed mill means Duffields are  embarking on a large scale project to significantly expand production capacity.

This is a 3 phase 12 month project

Phase 1 is currently underway with installation of 6 new finished product bins which will increase our finished product storage capacity by over 50%

Visit to Kingshay South West AgriEPI Centre

The ruminant sales specialist teams from all four Duffield feed mills visited the new Kingshay Agri EPI Centre near Shepton Mallet

This a new state of the art dairy unit with the latest hi tech equipment for milking , feeding and comprehensive cow management.

The team was given a talk and guided tour by centre manager David Petit
