It was a cold, wet day in July that found Janine MacSporran, our Accounts Assistant, riding an International 414 tractor round the roads of Harleston and the surrounding Norfolk countryside. “I was so cold at one point”, said Janine, “I couldn’t stop shivering.” But it was for a good cause… Janine was taking part in the 12th Pink Ladies Tractor road run, in aid of Cancer Research UK breast cancer appeal. The ride took a circular route of 20 miles, starting and ending at Thorpe Abbot airfield, with a much needed break for a picnic at Gawdy Hall midway. “It was an amazing experience” said Janine “I’m so glad I did it and so proud to be a part of it. It was so much fun! I would like to thank all my friends and colleagues at Duffields for helping me to raise £500.00 for such a deserving charity.” The run has made over £65,000.00 this year alone. Since the run started 12 years ago, the Pink Ladies Tractor Run has raised an unbelievable £462,000.00!
Well done Janine!
